I'm ready for college, but I have no clue where to start!?

A scholarship is an award of assistance for tuition , it can be full or partial . A grant is essentially the same as a scholarship , neither a grant or a scholarship need to be paid back . A loan needs to be paid back beginning at some fixed date after you graduate . Most 4 year colleges and universities require that you take either the SAT or the ACT . It is probably easier to do at least the first year at a community college because the freshman courses are usually the same everywhere .The counselor at the community college will help you get your ducks in a row for transfer to a 4 year school .
