Go to the GDCA website for breeder referals. Please read all the info on the website about finding a reputable breeder. The link mentioned in a previous post is an example of a BYB. They don't show their dogs, they don't health test for genetic diseases, they don't temperament test, there's no application, no contract, no health guarantee.........They simply throw 2 badly bred, poor examples of the breed together and sell puppies for profit. Make sure you are willing to commit to the extra time, space, and $$$$$ required in owning a giant breed. Be aware that Danes are extremely costly to keep, even without major health problems. Make sure you have a sense of humor when it comes to destroyed nick-knacks, drool, and a tail that can render a man sterile with one wag.
