I can't hear my Internet Browsers, help?

I picked up the win32/ursnif trojan, and it was removed by Microsoft Security Essentials, but it was too late, the Trojan had already messed up my computer. I can hear all sounds except sounds coming from an Internet web page. I have Windows Seven Ultimate, Build 7601. Microsoft says i should just create another user profile, but I was wondering if I could fix it.
