Is Career Creature a scam?

Recently applied for a position, rec'd a text back asking to call for pre-screen. Contacted company, they pre-screened (did NOT ask any personal id information or for money as of yet). Following the pre-screen, they said they will send an email with login id and password so I can finish the app process and move onto the hiring company. Just curious if these are real recruiters or front company for furthering education or scam artists in the making?
