Is seven weeks too early, any opinions, experience?

Pups learn valuable lessons from their mom...like how to bite gently during play(bite inhibition). when a pup is removed too early from mom then it is robbed of those learning opportunities and MAY develop behavioural problems later on. The ideal age for a pup to go to its new family is 9 weeks old.
